Unknown Merino Nylon base - this skein magically showed up in our dye pot as an oddity from our supplier.
Our merino based yarns are created using extra fine (19.5 micron) superwash fibres that are mulesing free. The animals are not harmed during the sheering process and in fact are pretty happy to give up their heavy coats.
The yarns feels soft and gentle against to the skin but is also strong and durable for good wearing properties. Its natural elasticity allows garments to stretch then return to their original shape. These yarns are worsted spun from long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel.
This Worsted weight yarn measures approximately 166m (181yds) per 100g
