Knitting By The Sea Retreat - Single Occupancy (incudes applicable taxes)
Set aside your worries and let us look after you at our KNITTING BY THE SEA RETREAT November 6-9 at the beautiful White Point Beach Resort on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Now is the time to reserve your spot to be a part of the RavensWood's Story of the String.
Settle in Thursday evening with our retreat guests for a social gathering and access to our onsite RavensWood shop then tuck in to rest your mind before class Friday morning. We will be exploring the technique of creating “Story Socks” using a pattern that you design. Not interested in sock knitting? The same techniques can be utilized to design a scarf or cowl. Friday afternoon is dedicated to the peaceful sounds of your project of choice in soft chairs next to a cozy fire or time to explore the beautiful South shore on your own or with a friend.
Along with access to our onsite RavensWood shop, we have a few surprises in store for your Friday evening “bedtime” story. Awake refreshed to do it all again on Saturday, including the option of visiting the White Point Beach Christmas Market happening at the resort. Saturday evening we will be gathered for a true Nova Scotia social including the tradition of sharing a “Party Piece.”
After two and half full days of rest, learning, playing and time making new friends, we will share a breakfast and then part ways at your leisure promising to meet again soon.
We hope your stars align and that you will be able to join us this fall. In order to keep this retreat intimate we have limited attendance to 20 participants. There will be 4 single rooms and 16 shared rooms available.
Price includes:
Three nights accommodation at the White Point Resort, Reception Thursday evening, All meals and nutrition breaks Friday, Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning, gratuity and applicable HST tax. Not included is your transportation to and from the event, alcoholic beverage purchases and additional shopping.
Please Note: Reservations are open until September 15, 2025. Cancellations prior to September 30, 2025 will receive a full refund. CANCELLATIONS AFTER SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 are NON-REFUNDABLE. RavensWood reserves the right to cancel the event on or before OCTOBER 1, 2025 and will refund your reservation for the retreat in full. Purchasing your reservation acknowledges that we are not responsible for any incurred travel fees.
