Sometimes the unexpected is... well... unexpected and a RARE JEWEL is created.
Skeins with minor imperfections including colour breaks that show up randomly in a skein without predictability or skeins that I find minor flaws in the yarn such as excessive breaks (the industry standard for acceptable - whether we find it acceptable or not- is 2 knots per 100g skein) or flaws in the spin. All of these issues (although perceived inconvenient) do not take away from a skein being usable and indeed beautiful.
