XOXO Socks

£2.73
Introduction

For the experienced knitter this is an intuitive cuff down sock pattern. This pattern is knit using the heel flap technique. It is worked using a single 100g skein of fingering weight yarn. For larger feet exceeding size 10 men, there are notes to increase size but one should consider additional yarn by perhaps knitting cuffs and heels in a complimentary colour left over from other projects to ensure that you have enough yarn to complete both socks. Keeping the one I love in mind, this pair of socks is full of hugs and kisses. I hope your feet feel the love :)
Skill Level
Intermediate. This pattern assumes that the knitter is familiar with sock knitting either on double pointed needles or using the magic loop technique on circular needles.
Finished Measurements
Lady’s US Size 8 has an approximate circumference of 22 cm (8 1⁄2 in) as measured just above the ankle and at the arch of the foot. Men’s US size 10 measured at the same 2 points will be 25 cm (~10 in). The sock should have a small amount of negative give in all directions in order to fit properly. The most important issue is that you can pull the cuff over the ankle/instep portion of the foot.
